Round 13 Reserves Report

In another game in muddy conditions at Anzac Park, provided us with another slog against Claremont but did see us get back on the winners list after a disappointing loss to Brighton the week before.

This week we had 22 contributors on the field that were all prepared to give 100% for each other. As a team our work rate was good but we are still consistently turning the ball over with bad decision making and disposal.

Up forward Brodie Phillips provided us with the polish we needed to convert our hard work into goals and he finished off with eight in a best on ground performance.

Other players that played well in an even team performance were Trent Proud and Nathan Hollis. The back line was superb all game letting very little through and rebounding well considering the ground conditions and was well led by Shaun Haberfield and Dave Smith. Josh McWilliams and Paul Jackson were tireless worker in the ruck and through the forward line.

Back on track now and with another challenge this week against Cygnet at Cygnet who we just managed to beat last time we met.
