TWO BLUES NEWS – Team Wrap Ups

16th July 2015

If you BLINKED you might have missed it but already we are at the 61.1% mark of the season and with FINALS looming what better time to assess the on field standing of the 3 teams.

The COLTS team, under the tutelage of dual head coaches Ryan Edmondson & Matthew Howell have had a testing season so far but find themselves just 1 game out of the finals picture and with a bit of luck and continued STRONG PLAY from the likes of Will Pettigrew, Kayde Johnson and skipper Dylan Zantuck; we might be able to snag that coveted 5th spot.

Scotty Bester has had his hands full with upward of 60 players pulling on a RESERVES guernsey already this year. However since dropping the first 4 games the team has had some sort of PALINGENISIS, winning a shade over 57% of encounters since then. With some handy players to return, the 2s boys will be looking to finish the season with a slew of victories and a lot of MOMENTUM heading into the spring.

The SENIOR side are seething after a disappointing round 11 loss to reigning premiers New Norfolk but will be out to prove that result to be an anomaly over the coming weeks. Aside from that result it has been a season of PROSPERITY for the young side as they are currently perched in 3rd spot and eyeing off a double chance come September.

This week all 3 sides host Huonville and it would be great to see plenty of SUPPORT down at ANZAC PARK and hopefully we can come away with 3 WINS for the club.
