Last weekend’s game at home was the rematch of the Colts’ first win in four years against Triabunna earlier in the year.
We knew last Saturday’s game was going to be a tough affair, with several of our key players out through injury.
Tribaunna started hard at the ball and continued that way for the rest of the game. The first quarter was disastrous for us, but, to their credit, our boys fought back through the next three quarters with some excellent football and never let up. Our under-strength side battled well but, unfortunately, was unable to make much of a dent into a well-structured and hard playing Roos side.
The boys travel to Boyer this week to tackle New Norfolk. With key players returning to the side we look confident that, by playing to our strengths and structures, we can give good account of ourselves.
Best players last week were: L Alsford, C Potter, J Whittenbury, J Bannister, B Brown and J Sullivan
